Pizza Hut always gives back to the community
Pizza Hut always believed in giving back to the community, and in making a difference in the lives of our customers, stakeholder and at our community at large. Today, in every corner of Mauritius, there are still those who are in need of aid.
On the 5th and 6th December 2008, we, Pizza Hut organised a lunch for two Non- Governmental Organisations (NGO's): Terre de Paix and SOS village. They were at Pizza Hut Le Caudan and Pizza Hut Manhattan restaurants for a half day gathering with 40 children in the view of launching Christmas festivities. Our Team members contributed in buying gifts for each child and made their day on this special occasion. Pizza Hut Le Caudan welcomed our guests with our D.I.S.C.O dance whereas our Manhattan restaurant made a belly dance show and danced with the children on our local sega music.
Pizza Hut supports the promotion of youth and sports in Mauritius
Pizza Hut is encouraging talent development in the sports arena.
We sponsored the long jump athlete Jonathan Chimier in 2004. The following year, we extended support to l'Olympique de Moka, a first division soccer team.In 2006, Pizza Hut co-sponsored the 5th CJSOI 2006 Games (Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l'Océan Indien).

Chikungunya-free living environment
Happy World pledges full support to the national campaign against Chikungunya initiated by Mauritius Commercial Bank.In order to promote a Chikungunya-free environment, an island-wide campaign was launched in January 2007. Primary school children represent the main audience.
Happy World is a 100% Mauritian company.
